1. Manuscript Types
Multidisciplinary Research of Education Report accepts the following kinds of submissions:
a) Original Research Articles: empirical or theoretical studies presenting new findings.
b) Review Articles: including systematic reviews, meta-analyses, or narrative reviews summarizing advances, gaps, and future directions.
c) Perspectives or Opinion Pieces: essays on current issues, debates, or trends in education.
d) Case Studies: in-depth reports on innovative educational practices, programs, or unique educational settings.
e) Practical Reports / Innovations: reports on new technologies, pedagogical innovations, or practices in classroom or policy.
2. Language, Formatting, and Style
a) Manuscripts must be written in fluent academic English. Authors whose first language is not English are strongly encouraged to use professional proofreading or language editing services.
b) Use 12-Sogoel UI font, double-spaced, on A4 paper with standard margins (? 2.5 cm all around).
c) Title: concise (preferably ? 12-15 words), informative, reflecting the content.
d) Abstract: maximum 250–300 words; must summarize context, objectives, methodology, principal findings, conclusion, and significance. Should stand alone without citations if possible.
e) Keywords: 3-6 keywords immediately after the abstract, lowercase, separated by commas.
f) Headings: use no more than three levels (e.g. Introduction; Methods; Results and Discussion; Conclusion). Consistent formatting.
3. Ethical and Originality Requirements
a) Submitted work must be original, unpublished elsewhere, and not under review in another journal.
b) If human or animal subjects are involved, authors must include ethical approval, informed consent, and adhere to applicable ethical guidelines.
c) Authors must disclose any conflicts of interest.
d) Plagiarism (text, data, figures) is unacceptable; manuscripts may undergo similarity checks.
4. Data & Methods Transparency
a) Provide sufficient detail in methods to allow reproducibility.
b) Data sources, sample size, procedures, instruments, and analysis methods must be clearly described.
c) If relevant, include data about limitations of the study.
5. Figures, Tables, and Supplementary Material
a) Figures and tables should be clear, legible, numbered, and with captions. Insert within text at appropriate points, but also submit separately if required.
b) Images should be high resolution (e.g. ?300 dpi), standard file formats (JPEG, PNG for images; PDF, TIFF if high quality needed).
c) Supplementary materials (e.g. datasets, extended tables, additional figures) can be submitted, clearly labelled.
6. References and Citation Style
a) Use a consistent referencing style; recommends APA (7th Edition).
b) All citations in text must appear in the reference list; all references in list must be cited in text.
c) Include DOI where available.
d) Ensure accuracy in author names, year, title, journal/book details.
7. Submission Process
a) Manuscript should be submitted via the journal’s online submission system.
b) Include title page with: title; author names; affiliations; corresponding author email; acknowledgements (if any).
c) Upload manuscript file plus any supplementary materials.
8. Revision and Proofs
a) If invited to revise, authors should respond to reviewer comments systematically, indicate what changes were made, or justify if some suggestions not followed.
b) After acceptance, authors will be asked to review proofs for final corrections. Corrections should be limited to typographic errors; no substantial content changes at proof stage.
9. Copyright, Licensing, and Open Access
a) Manuscripts accepted by MRER will be published under an open access license (e.g. Creative Commons) — specify type (e.g. CC-BY).
b) Upon acceptance, authors may be required to sign a license or copyright form.
10. Publication Fees / Charges (if applicable)
a) If MRER imposes article processing charges (APCs) or publication fees, these must be clearly stated.
b) Information on waivers or discounts (for authors from low-income regions etc.) should be provided if available.
